I have the biggest crush on Brandon Boyd, the lead singer of Incubus. In fact, I have a sweatshirt that has his face on it and I make sure that no one else gets to use it and that it is washed with care so that the print would not fade. My family always teased me about this obsession but I do not mind since I am not ashamed of this adoration – Brandon Boyd is a cool artist and I am proud that I am his fan.
You might wonder why I like him so much. This is because I find his skill for art and music incredibly cool. He has this ability to write the most beautiful songs, he can obviously write poetry and he has drawn and painted some of the most amazing art that I have ever seen. He is definitely an artist in every sense of the word.
Most of my friends were envious of the Brandon Boyd sweatshirt that I had. This was because Brandon Boyd has appealed a lot to the females. I greatly believe that his looks also contributed significantly to the fame of Incubus although their music alone was great enough. Every time I attend a Incubus concert you can find hundreds of girls shrieking over Brandon Boyd and you can bet that I am one of them.
I have collected every album that Incubus has released. The band has a very unique style of music with high energy. I love listening to their sound every time I am out on the road driving my car. It makes me feel good. With great music and the hypnotic and smooth voice of Brandon Boyd, the band is so easy to love. This is why I often purchase Incubus merchandise as well.
Incubus is one of those bands that only get to produce original music with a deeper meaning in their songs. Every time I hear their music it paints a lot of images in my mind and I easily get that “high” feeling every time good music comes my way. Their songs have reached me on a more personal level compared to other bands.
